At Narralogue, we want readers to enjoy an immersive literary experience in a safe, respectful, and responsible environment.
Narralogue allows readers to engage in brief AI-generated conversations with characters from classic works of literature while the original stories remain unchanged. Our goal is to deepen the experience of reading without altering the author's narrative.
Entertainment Purpose
Narralogue is intended primarily for entertainment and the enjoyment of literature.
Conversations with literary characters are AI-generated as part of the interactive reading experience. They are designed to enrich the story and encourage engagement with classic literature. They should not be relied upon as factual information or as professional, medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
Literary Conversations
The characters you encounter are AI-generated interpretations of fictional literary characters.
Responses are generated within the context of the current scene and are intended to remain consistent with the personality, knowledge, and circumstances of the original work. While we strive for literary faithfulness, responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may occasionally contain inaccuracies or imperfections.
Recommended Age
Narralogue is recommended for readers 13 years of age and older.
Many classic literary works explore mature themes, including violence, death, prejudice, war, horror, psychological conflict, and other topics that may not be suitable for younger readers. These themes are preserved as part of the original works and are presented within their historical and literary context.
Readers under 13 should use Narralogue only with appropriate parental guidance.
Content Warnings
Narralogue primarily features classic works that are in the public domain. Because these works were written in different historical periods, they may contain:
- Violence and death
- Horror or supernatural themes
- Discrimination or prejudice
- Outdated language or social attitudes
- References to war, illness, or psychological distress
These elements belong to the original literary works and are preserved to maintain their historical, cultural, and artistic integrity.
Content Moderation
Narralogue uses automated moderation systems to help reduce abusive, illegal, or harmful interactions.
Reader inputs and AI-generated responses may be processed by automated safety systems before they are displayed. While we continually improve these safeguards, no moderation system can guarantee that every inappropriate response or input will be prevented.
If you encounter content that you believe is inappropriate or unsafe, please contact us so we can investigate.
AI Limitations
Artificial intelligence can occasionally make mistakes.
Responses generated within Narralogue may:
- Misunderstand a question or comment
- Misidentify details within a scene
- Produce inaccurate information
- Respond imperfectly despite literary constraints
AI-generated conversations should not be considered authoritative sources of information.
Reader Well-being
Narralogue is designed as an interactive literary experience and is not intended to replace professional advice, counselling, healthcare, or emergency services.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, emotional crisis, or require professional assistance, please seek help from qualified professionals or appropriate local services.
Respectful Use
We ask all readers to use Narralogue respectfully.
Attempts to misuse the platform, including abusive behaviour, harassment, attempts to generate harmful content, or efforts to circumvent platform safeguards, may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.
Privacy and Personal Information
To provide the service, Narralogue processes only the information reasonably necessary to operate the platform.
Conversations with literary characters are designed as part of a shared storytelling experience rather than a private messaging service. Please avoid including personal, confidential, or sensitive information in your messages. This includes information such as your full name, home address, phone number, email address, passwords, financial information, medical information, or any other details that you would not want others to see.
To celebrate memorable literary exchanges, Narralogue may anonymously feature selected conversation excerpts in community features, such as shared dialogue displays. Only excerpts that have passed our moderation process are eligible for sharing. We do not share conversations that contain personal information, abusive content, or other material that does not meet our community and safety standards.
For more information about how your information is collected, used, stored, and protected, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
A Note for Parents & Educators
Narralogue is designed to provide a safe, respectful, and engaging interactive reading experience. The platform is intended to be suitable for classroom use and independent reading by readers aged 13 and above.
AI-generated character responses are moderated using automated safety systems designed to reduce harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content. In addition, conversations selected for community features such as Wisps are reviewed before they become eligible for anonymous sharing with other readers.
While no moderation system can guarantee that every response will be perfect, Narralogue continuously improves its safeguards to help maintain a safe and appropriate literary environment for readers, parents, and educators.
Parents and educators are encouraged to supervise younger readers and select literary works appropriate for their age and maturity.
Continuous Improvement
Narralogue is continually evolving.
We regularly improve our AI systems, safety measures, moderation, and platform features to provide a better reading experience while preserving the integrity of the literary works that readers enjoy.
While these safeguards are continually improved, no moderation system is perfect. If you encounter content that you believe is inappropriate, please contact us so we can investigate.
