About Narralogue

Introduction to Spectator Literature

Narralogue reading scene

Narralogue is an interactive literature platform pioneering a new form of reading called Spectator Literature, where the story remains unchanged, yet the reader may speak directly to the characters within it.

This is not a chatbot.

It is not a choose-your-own-adventure game.

It is not an interactive book that rewrites the story around the reader.

Narralogue, at its core, is a reading companion.

The original text remains fully intact and canonical. Readers enter works such as Pride and Prejudice, Middlemarch, and Macbeth, some of the greatest literary works ever written, not as heroes, but as spectators standing at the edge of the scene. By double-clicking anywhere in the text, they may briefly lean into the story and address the characters themselves, sharing a few exchanges before the narrative resumes its original course.

The experience combines classic text, atmospheric visual design, AI-driven dialogue, and immersive interaction to create something between reading, theatre, and séance. Characters, like ghosts bound to their literary fates, emerge from the page as summoned presences, aware of the reader for only a fleeting moment before returning to the flow of the original work.

Narralogue is designed for readers who love literature, including students, educators, and dreamers alike.

Great books speak to you.
